February 18, 2019
The step by step process of MCRR's outrageous custom motorcycle builds.
1. Build to the highest of world standard.
Maintain the highest quality of motorcycle build that meet balanced visual and performance qualities.
2. Copy nobody. Be innovative & original.
Find the most original concepts of custom built motorcycles and warp and change the very idea that it could be and work it into an original MCRR two wheeled machine.
3. Best looking bike for the build category.
The most stunning visual appeal among the competition is the most important factor for MCRR when deciding to take on a new project bike.
4. Wow 10 out of 10 people.
Exactly as it sounds, MCRR’s plan is always to wow the people that have never even seen custom motorbikes as well as qualified experts on the subject.
5. Rides like a modern bike.
The integral importance of performance is paramount when creating a custom built motorcycle. MCRR strongly favors visual appeal, yet will never compromise on prime performance.
6. Make every part shine.
Every last part of the motorcycle will be shining if it indeed is a motorcycle built by MC RoadRunner. Every last part of every bike shall always steal your attention.
7. Bike that anyone would love in the garage.
MC RoadRunner designs the most exquisite motorcycle variety that many riders would absolutely love to home in their personal garage.
When building a new build project, I start by looking at all images from around the world with a critical eye. I see faults in many bike builds where builders have attempted to be so different, yet their bikes become visually displeasing. Aesthetics is everything. The bike has to be a little more than just pleasing to look at. From all angles it is desired to look brutal in a straight line & around corners. The bike has to look like it’s built to transport a human from A to B in the most striking and exhilarating way it looks like any human being at any point in history could ever have traveled, full stop.
Build to the highest of world standard. I like to think I can build an exclusive motorcycle to a high standard like a small volume hand build manufacturer like BIMOTA, Brian Ghezzi, RSD with the just as much style. Every MCRR bike is built to perfection, using hand made polished stainless steel & alloy components, SS bolts, polished exhaust headers, pipes & a balance of carbon fiber, high quality painted parts & top end brake & suspension components.
My rule is to copy nobody. All my builds have new ideas & shapes I picture in my head & keep me from sleeping until I make reality. For new builds I design tail pieces, sub-frames, fairings, screens, belly pans, all which resemble nothing seen before.
Before I start any build, I search all world images, not to get ideas what to do, but more what not to do. I can be very critical of other builders expressions, not that I’d share those thoughts, just kept to myself I will build my own bikes in a way I have trouble being my own critic. I can always fault my own work, but if I asked anyone what was wrong with any build, they would not pick what I am not happy with.
I always build my bikes to be pleasing to the eye to the masses. I see so many builders trying to be so extreme, their bikes may only appeal to 1 out of 10 people. While the builder might like his creation, 9 out of 10 will turn & stick their fingers down their throat & have a chuck. These bikes don’t get the judges vote, nor votes from the masses.
Quality suspension, superior handling & sticky tyres.
All my bikes are built to be ridden the way I like to ride. This means wheelies, stoppies & fast cornering. No-one wants to do this shit on a bike with shitty non adjustable suspension, crap brakes & no traction. All my bikes handle like modern machines, otherwise I could not put my MCRR logo on it.
It look Look stunning from all angles. All Stainless steal & Aluminium should be polished, paint should shine, exhaust always polished & carbon should glisten that 3d weave. “MATT IS RATT!” I hate Rat Bikes… I will never subscribe to Matt paint, bandage rapped exhausts & crappy wheels. Anyone can buy $3 rattle cans to cover bad welds, bad exhaust, dented tanks & poorly shaped sheet metal.
build a special motorcycle that any rider would love to have be homed in their garage. Following all the above steps pretty much ensures a very unique one of the kind motorcycle.
